Oh my, what do I say? King's x floored me With this eponymous fourth album when It came out. I simply couldn't get enough of it. I still have my old CD, but this Vinyl version has me blown away yet again.
I don't rank favorite albums just like I don't rank my kids. but there is something about the First four King's x albums which just isn't there in Dogman and following. There's a power and a passion that ignites that early music (and I'm so excited to hear their interviews about the album planned for an early 2020 Release and how It pulls from that early passion). I think It had to do With their faith and the tensions they felt With It and the rest of their lives. It's a tension that I live in every day.
This Vinyl version includes 'Junior's Gone Wild' from the Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey soundtrack which wasn't included in the original Release of 'King's X.' that was a happy discovery. So, too, was the discovery that this teal-colored Vinyl LP is one of a 1,000 individually numbered records. I'm a sucker for limited editions like this. if you are, too, don't hesitate to buy It before they're all gone. and beyond that, the sound quality is absolutely superb. It's got all of the character and warmth of Vinyl With none of the pops and hiss.
